Compared to traditional beacons that rely on incandescent or halogen lighting, Micro Bright™ is 12 times smaller, 10 times lighter, and delivers significantly higher brightness. Despite its compact size, its BoardFree® PCB-free technology features a fully sealed, over-molded construction that greatly enhances structural strength and impact resistance, making it well suited for the harsh environments in which warning beacons operate.
With its patented form factor and structural design, Micro Bright™ effectively eliminates common failure points caused by water or dust intrusion found in competing products. Smaller than a hockey puck, it delivers exceptional durability well beyond its size.
The Deere Innovation Award recognizes suppliers who successfully apply innovation to improve the John Deere business model, with evaluation criteria focused on creativity, feasibility, collaboration, and real-world impact. All awarded projects must be in production and are selected by John Deere’s Supply Management team.
The Micro Bright™ Beacon meets ECE R65, R10, SAE J845, and IP67 certifications and is available in multiple LED color options to satisfy a wide range of industry requirements. It also offers versatile mounting solutions, including retrofit options to replace traditional halogen or incandescent beacons.
